Placing books

“…they were wise enough to be content with the house as it was; and each of them was busy in arranging their particular concerns, and endeavouring, by placing their books and other possessions, to form themselves a home. Marianne’s pianoforte was unpacked and properly disposed of; and Elinor’s drawings were affixed to the walls of their sitting room.” Jane Austen, Sense and Sensibility.

It’s all happening a little sooner than I expected. We move in about four weeks. The great sorting and packing and disposing and affixing begins!

…I may have too many books for the new house…
